With the smash hit “iSmart Shankar,” Puri Jagannadh was able to get back on the road to stardom. Following Liger’s failure, Puri Jagannadh decided to team up with Ram Pothineni to make iSmart Shankar 2 in an attempt to get back on track.

Who knows? Maybe this sequel can top the first.

What follows is the story of iSmart Shankar (Ram) and Jannath, a girl who has moved from Delhi to Hyderabad. Aside from his interest in her, he plans to take revenge on the man who killed his mother, Pochamma (Jhansi), by extraditing mafia don Big Bull (Sanjay Dutt) to India.

Bigg Bull orders his workers to locate a donor brain in order to transplant his memories after receiving the devastating news of a brain tumour. Using another person’s brain to reach his lofty goal of immortality is central to Bigg Bull’s philosophy.

Everyone on his team thinks iSmart Shankar would be the best choice for the memory transfer. You could say that Bigg Bull and iSmart Shankar are on a collision course.

After this memory transfer is complete, what will happen? Is Shankar going to be able to get even?

Artistes’ Performances: Ram plays Shankar again with the same panache. Ram does his job as an actor and does his best to liven up even the most boring scenes. But there’s no excitement, and it’s like watching iSmart Shankar again, because his persona is just a carbon copy of the original.

Kavya Thapar mainly acts as a glam show in her character as a typical Puri Jagannadh heroine.

The intimidating stature of Sanjay Dutt makes him an ideal choice to play the Big Bull. Both Jhansi and Pragati, who portray mothers, do an excellent job.

In Get Up, Srinu is only there to support the hero, while Ali’s jokes are crude and uninspired.

Mani Sharma’s music is technically excellent. Two of the tracks are memorable, but they can’t compare to the first part’s infectious charm.

Even though it’s an action film, the writing isn’t very precise. The production design and photography are very good.

Double iSmart Analysis

The “Double iSmart” notion, when explained orally, could sound fascinating. The plot centres on the hero’s mission to exact revenge on the villain, who tries to implant his memories into his head. After the villain succeeds in his mission, the hero begins to lose sight of his original desire for revenge. This may have been an engaging action thriller with a more accomplished narrator.

Some have questioned whether or not the film has a consistent plot after seeing Puri Jagannadh’s execution. He uses old footage to keep the plot going, so it feels like a mashup of his earlier works like “Paisa Vasool,” “Liger,” and “iSmart Shankar.”

Because of the hero’s crude and sexually suggestive actions towards the girl, as well as his monotonous singing, dancing, and fighting, the picture looks more like a classic Hollywood blockbuster than a modern one. The energetic music and Ram keep us captivated, but we have to fight through the first half.

Further casting doubt on Puri Jagannadh’s motives is a comic track featuring Ali that plays in simultaneously. Despite its comedic intentions, the song doesn’t make anyone laugh and doesn’t fit in with the plot at all. In his role as an Amazonian tribal person transported to India for an experiment, Ali uses crude and sexually suggestive gestures.

Listening to this song, it’s clear that Puri Jagannadh is using the same tired techniques of storytelling instead of coming up with new comedic concepts.

The film’s second half and climax failed to offer any engaging twists or turns. The atmosphere around Lord Shiva and the last section feel forced, lacking an organic progression of events.

In general, “Double iSmart” isn’t really original. While it’s fine to have the occasional “mass” moment, typical audiences just can’t handle too many “mental mass” moments. Despite Ram’s enthusiastic turn, the picture isn’t as good as the original “iSmart Shankar” and uses out-of-date ideas about “mass moments.”
